A.5 A PARTICIPATIVE PROCESS IN THE SERVICE OF SOCIETY

From the outset, the project has been designed to be social in nature, not just aimed at the general public but also factoring in public engagement and use.

This is why the galleries are open for tours during the restoration process. As work progresses, more areas are gradually being opened up to visitors and more surprising discoveries are being made and fed back into the information provided on the tours. The tour experience is continually changing, and each new day is a unique opportunity for a different experience.

Along with the guided tours, the galleries are also used as a venue for cultural, educational and social events such as exhibitions, photographic shows, seminars, concerts, etc.

Thousands of people have visited the site in the three years since the project began. Why not join in and form part of our history?
